The search
The Strategic Account Director role was created in order to increase their presence in Europe by providing expertise surrounding the B2G public transportation process as well as improving the service to the pre-existing B2B clients. Crowhite engaged in the role in December 2021 on exclusive bases, with a 6-week deadline.
Due to the tight time constraints of the assignment, the team ensured that the process, from shortlisting to the offer stage, took no longer than 6 weeks (Not including the holiday period)– meeting the quality and timing requirements which were initially laid out.
It was very important to them that candidates be extremely skilled and able to fit into the culture of the organisation quickly. They also wanted to ensure the SAD was happy to work to tight deadlines so the development of the region could be delivered on time.
Our solution
Crowhite thoroughly researched the B2G public transportation market to service the client’s requirement for a Strategic Account Director (DACH). Our team took a proactive approach to the assignment, leveraging encouraging referrals across our vast network of global candidates and sourcing on the fly (headhunting).
Our broad-reaching regional search and coordination of online interviews with shortlisted candidates, HR executives and the MD EMEA enabled a proficient selection process. Throughout the course of hiring, Crowhite consultants assessed the requirements of the client and kept in regular contact with stakeholders, ensuring open communications.
Results
A quick and efficient search meant we had a shortlist of 5 candidates within the week:
- 5 first-round interviews, 2 second-round interviews, 1 hire
As a result of this work, our client was able to grow its team in Germany, Increase the number of accounts and increase its market share within the region.
