Background
Our Client is a household insurance claims specialist that provides ‘replacement contents’ solutions for multi-commodity to some of the UK’s leading insurers.
They were looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join immediately. This role, however, was not a regular BA role, they were really looking for a hybrid between an IT project manager and a BA with insurance experience.
Crowhite was subcontracted in November 2022 by another recruitment agency and was given 2 weeks to place this role as They needed to onboard the candidate quickly, so they could start on the project before the end of the year.
Solution
Due to the urgency of this role and the location of their office, the pool of candidates was extremely small. We were searching for someone who was available to start immediately with IT function experience, insurance experience and willing to travel to a semi-remote office 3 times a week.
In order to meet their quality and timing requirements, we started looking at PMs and IT managers who had made the switch to Business Analyst, but a headhunt approach wasn’t the most suitable solution as most business analysts will not leave a project midway. So we reached out to our network and found 4 candidates who were suited, interested and available to start immediately.
Result

As a result of this work, the CEO was able to hand over an important project to focus on other crucial business objectives.
